Bornemark Software founder and creative director Sven Bornemark started producing musical computer tools in 2002. His career started many years earlier, though. First gigs included television shows and records with his musical family in 1963 and the remainder of the 60s. During 1975-2001 he worked as a composer, musician, arranger and producer with many of Sweden's best known artists.
Eventually, these musical skills found their way into useful tools for the working musician. Virtual Guitarist was the world's first practical rhythm guitar tool for non-guitarists, when it appeared at Frankfurt MusikMesse in 2002. Next year saw Groove Agent, an easy-to-use virtual drum machine that also has remained a favourite in the Steinberg catalogue. 2004 saw Broomstick Bass - a handy bass player that comes with a lot of cool instruments, knows all styles, follows your songs and operates in both automatic and manual mode.
